Bright Club Bristol “Forget Me Not”
Thursday 19th September, 7pm
The thinking person’s variety night is back! Bright Club Bristol “Forget Me Not” promises to be an absolute corker with researchers covering topics from youth politics to ancient Greeks via genetics and somehow ending up with cinema and propaganda. And as always, there will be FREE SWEETS! Hosted by comedian Tom Craine (he’s been on telly with Russell Howard!) with a capella music supplied by The Blue (much better than just “Blue”). The researchers are:
Matthew Alford – cinema and propaganda – they don’t want you to forget this
Sam Creavin – dementia diagnosis – why we have forgotten
Ceri-Wyn Thomas – embryo paleontologist – long forgotten beasts
Benjamin Bowman – young people and politics – a forgotten people
Kurt Lampe – ancient Greek mythology – gone but not forgotten
Philip Hamann – genetics in rheumatology – I forget how this fits in…
Don’t forget that tickets cost £7 on the door and will only be available in very limited numbers. Buy in advance to make sure you don’t miss out! The bar opens at 6:30pm and is upstairs in the same room as Bright Club (3rd floor of Hamilton House). Buying your booze from us helps support future Bright Clubs!
UPDATE
Unfortunately our advertised host for the night, Tom Craine, is unable to make it. We have replaced him with an equally brilliant Thomas, comedian Thom Tuck
